Advertising Operations Director
Responsible for the overall success and efficiency of online advertising operations including cam-paign management and optimisation, inventory management, reporting and trafficking.
Project manage the delivery and implementation of all new website display advertising requests to coincide with website/channel go live dates.
Liaise with sales directors, publishers and developers to provide new display advertising opportu-nities across the network and the required sales strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to launch new ad products and support existing products
Work with sales teams to identify inventory required for specific customer objectives
Delivery and optimisation of multiple campaign types - CPM, CPC, Contextual, B2B ad network and Behavioural Targeting (Audience Science).
Provision and analysis of campaign and website advertising reports to the finance department, publishers and sales teams to maximise revenue across the portfolio of sites.
Creation and maintenance of display advertising specification documents for internal and external clients.
Full line-management, of the team at HQ responsible for all advertising operations across the company, Facebook and mobile. Carry out regular 6 monthly and yearly appraisals of the team.
Responsible for the team's output in terms of campaign creation, optimisation, reporting/post campaign analysis. Prioritisation of the teams' job managing the day to day workload.
Develop and implement work flow processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Maintain and developing current relationships with 3rd party vendors, clients, agencies, networks and the advertising sales team. Client facing responsibility for display advertising vendors (Ad-tech, Videoplaza etc..) and monetization partners such as Appssavvy, Sponsorpay, Socialvibe etc from an implementation point of view
Advanced understanding of Flash, HTML, 3rd party javascript ad tags and ad platforms with a view to troubleshooting potential advertising issues across the network.
Exceptional analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong hands-on experience working with an online ad operations team.
Proven experience in leading teams. Strong personal conviction & credibility
Comprehensive understanding of digital ad-serving space.
Knowledge of Adtech Helio IQ ad server preferable
Proven success in campaign management or business development in media and digital advertis-ing
Approachable attitude coupled with excellent customer service skills.
Outstanding teamwork, organisational and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail
Able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Ability and willingness to go the extra mile
Strong project management and communication skills (verbal and written).
Deep understanding of industry issues, a vision for growth and a passion to build on our position within the industry
Fluent English a must and ideally one other European language (ideally French or German
