JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Developer at Axis Communication you will be working with new technology in a very talented and devoted team of developers, in a company with strong company values. The New Video Product department is responsible for executing the product roadmap ahead, from platforms to mass production. Your main task will be to participate in product development projects, developing network cameras based on our technology platforms, where you will have the opportunity to influence our development work.

Your responsibilities will be to: 

* Be a key player in the development of our products
* Translate requirements into features that can be developed
* Perform analysis, design, implementation and write unit tests of new functionalitythat solves our customers’ requirements
* Integrate and verify software created by other Axis departments
* Perform advanced debugging of complete embedded systems 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Axis is looking for a creative, open-minded and result-oriented person that can work both independently and in a team. We believe that you have a genuine interest in programming and a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar. You have experience from C-programming in a Linux environment.

As teamwork is crucial for Axis, it’s important that you can contribute to a good team spirit in a high-pressure environment. Your communication and listening skills are excellent, and you have a strong sense of responsibility and are good at taking initiatives.

Except from above, experience from some of the following areas is desirable: 

* Development of embedded systems
* Debugging tools
* Photography, optics, and image sensor technology
* Low-level programming, device drivers, etc.
* Electronics and computer hardware design
