JOB DESCRIPTION
To maintain the overall quality of Axis' products, we need to quickly analyze, implement and deliver the modifications requested by the market. As a Software Engineer at Product Maintenance you will be working for a development team supporting our sales and customers services organizations and be responsible for:

* Troubleshooting of different issues reported by customers via our support organization
* Developing new functionalities requested by the market together with our different global partners or customers.
* Releasing Service Releases for our video products.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Axis is looking for a newly graduated engineer with preferably a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a more experienced developer for carrying out above mentioned tasks. Suitable candidates have documented experience in C programming as well as experience in Linux environment and embedded systems. You have a genuine interest in troubleshooting and debugging and you have good knowledge of Computer Networking.

Furthermore we believe you have good communications skills in English and Swedish and are able to work in teams, but also to handle issues on your own. You have the ability to discuss with persons from other departments outside the R&D such as Support and Sales.

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE
Product Maintenance is a unit within R&D responsible of supporting the products on the market. We work close to the sales and support organisation worldwide and help them in their day to day struggles. Our team works specifically with firmware and is part of the Global Product Maintenance Team (PMT) which deals with all type of cases from Hardware to Application Software.

We also make sure that the Axis product portfolio maintains an overall good quality to the satisfaction of our customers.
