Description
Ericsson's main business in Linköping is thedevelopment of radio-network control within mobile systems. The research and development organization in Linköping Sweden, focus on Radio Network Access and are particular large on GSM and LTE system development. One of Ericsson's largest lab environments is handled in Linköping and we now need to strengthen our unit further, on IP networks. We are therefore looking for a newly graduated student with a genuine interest in large IP networks. In your work you will have contact with other team-members, test engineers from other departments using the lab, and project managers. The work gives you the opportunity to take own initiatives, search for solutions and finding the best way to solve problems.
Qualifications
For this position, we would like you to have good knowledge of IP technology (protocols, routing, switching, IP applications etc.) and good competence in some of the following specific areas:
* Fire walls
* Routers and Switches
* Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6 and VPN
* Unix and Linux
* All telecommunication skills are most welcome
You have solid customer's focus. You must be a team player with passion for delivering world class solutions. Ability to take technical leadership is wanted.
A university degree in computer science or similar is mandatory, preferably a masters degree but shorter educations will also be considered. Experience from operation of IP networks is most welcome. Even if it is not experiences from full-time jobs, please mention any experiences that show your interest in networks.
Location and Schedule
The position is located in Linköping.
Schedule:Fulltime.
Starting date: May-June.
