Environmental engineer with focus on Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)

Within Volvo Truck Technology, the group Environment & Chemistry performs applied research and development with the primary goal of ensuring high environmental standards and resource efficiency within the Volvo Group. We also assist the Volvo group on a more daily basis with expert competences in selected areas such as chemical risk assessments. To do this we have a multidisciplinary staff of employees skilled in engineering and natural sciences.

In line with the extensive environmental focus at AB Volvo, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method we use for calculating environmental performance of new concepts and our products. We also perform LCA studies for public funded projects where Volvo is involved in developing new technologies.
We have an increased demand for LCA studies and therefore we look for a Life Cycle Analyst.

Core Responsibilities:
Participate in projects with focus on performing LCA studies.
Create project schedules and budgets, and manage projects to completion, including written reports and technical papers
Work with existing and new clients to define project proposals and activities

Required Competencies:
Experience in LCA methodology
GaBi knowledge
Good communication and teamwork skills
To be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
Fluency in Swedish and English language

Minimum Education Required:
Master degree in Environmental and/or Chemical Engineering
LCA methodology
