Axell Wireless AB develops repeaters for all types of networks, from TETRA and GSM / EDGE to GSM-R, UMTS and LTE. The product portfolio extends from the volume produced repeaters to customerspecific system solutions. The products and solutions built on industry-leading technology such as software defined radio and digital pre-distortion to provide coverage in tunnels, buildings and sparsely populated areas.
Axell Wireless AB are now looking for a:
* ***** Experienced Senior RF Engineer/Repeaters ******
The main objective is to develop competitive RF and PA modules for repeater solutions. The person holding this role shall work on current and new generation repeater projects in the whole development chain. Support and maintenance of released products. This role requires some travelling in most cases to work from our London office.
Our designers are challenged with finding smart ways to combine tough technical requirements in flexible products for volume production with demands on cost and short lead-times. Our products consist of RF, electronics, mechanics, digital FPGA and software.
Areas of Responsibilities
* -Definition of RF architectures and system level design of our repeaters
* -Feed Forward Power amplifier design for GSM and UMTS
* -RF simulations using Microwave office
* -Technical lead on sourcing available RF and PA solutions
* -Technical lead for junior RF designers
* -RF and PA board design for our development projects
* -Prototyping, test, verification and documentation of HW RF modules
* -Support of released products
Job Requirements
* -Master degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
* -Radio and Amplifier design skills
* -Understanding of configuration management (CM) and quality assurance (QA) as well as design methodology
* -Fluency in English due to working in multi-cultural teams internally and externally
Beneficial (Not required)
* -Knowledge in fibre communication design and products
* -Extensive experience within RF-engineering
* -Experience in power supply design, digital design and signal processing
* -IFS and / or Altium designer
* -Experience in using RF simulation tooling like Microwave office, ADS or similar

* -Calm and social with good communication skills
* -Structured, thorough with a logical approach
* -Own drive
