Food Technologist Dairy Chilled - LUN003297

Food Category Dairy within Business Unit Dairy, Beverage & Prepared Food is looking for a Food Technologist. Our role within Processing Systems is to bring optimal solutions to the continuously growing global Dairy market.

The role means taking the full ownership of food technology within Dairy Chilled and within our fast expanding Dairy Formulations development. You will give and own important input to our Technology development, R&D, sales, order fulfillment organizations and Market Companies as well as to our customers.

We offer you a challenging position in a highly qualified team and close cooperation with sales and market companies all over the world. The position is based in Lund, Sweden, and includes 25% travelling.

Main responsibilities
* Take ownership of and drive the technology development within Dairy Chilled and Dairy Formulations, including technology scouting and product quality development.
* Train and drive the competence development of our global organisation within the area of food and processing technology.
* Support Sales with food technology expertise and product knowledge.
* Support Customers with food technology expertise, trouble shooting and audits of their production facilities.

Qualifications
We are looking for a self motivated and outgoing person who enjoys networking and sharing knowledge. You possess a good market understanding and an ability to absorb and understand customer needs. You have a strong commercial focus and are keen to combine this with your food technology competence. Your personal drive is strong and you like taking overall responsibility. Your communication skills are excellent and you have the ability to build trust and good relations with global colleagues, in both market and technically oriented positions.

It would be of significant benefit if your professional background is several years within the dairy industry, which has given you experience and knowledge in dairy products, production and dairy processes. You hold a university degree or other higher education in food chemistry or equivalent. Your English skills are excellent, spoken as well as written.
