On behalf of our client we are now looking for a Global Accounting Director
The responsibility for this position includes all legal reporting. Overall responsibility for all traditional tasks performed by a finance department according to external and internal requirements. This includes Budget, Forecast, Accounting, Business support, Analysis, Monthly and Quarterly reports, Implementation and Development of Financial Processes.
The global finance function is divided into an operational controlling function focusing on operational P&L, whereas the Global Finance function is responsible for legal consolidation, cash management, treasury, tax and transfer pricing but with close cooperation with the Controlling function. The accounting function is supported by outsourced resources located in India, that you will manage. You will also be line-manager for a small finance team located in Malmö.
We are looking for:
An analytical person with strong leadership talents. Your personal and social skills will be of great importance. The position works closely with the local Finance Managers as well as the controlling team and is a key member of the Global Finance Management team. The position reports directly to the CFO.
The ideal candidate has at least 10 years qualified experience from roles within finance and controlling, of which at least 3 years qualified global accounting experience. The ideal candidate also has at least 2 years of experience of a people management position. Preferably you have also worked in consultant business environment.
It is essential that you have experience from global accounting, controlling, process implementation and leadership in an international company and that you are prepared for, and find it inspiring to work in a multi-cultural organization.
Summary of qualifications:
* Academic degree in Finance and Business Administration
* Speak and write English fluently
* Experience from Consultant Company is desired
* Preferable experience from auditing company
* At least 10 qualified experience within finance and at least 2 years in management position
* Experience from consolidation, preparation of annual reports, IFRS-rules
* Preferably experience of international taxation and transfer pricing
* Preferably cash management or treasury experience
* Analytical skills
* Proven good basic skills in accounting
* High integrity and good understanding in meeting deadlines
