Head of Risk Operations
Manage the day to day of consumer and merchant risk management as part of the Risk Operations Department.
Serve as an escalation authority for accept/deny and go/no go decisions on merchants, large consumer credits, changes to Klarna?s fraud policy and more.
Maintain a positive and productive work environment as the most senior Risk person on the ground in Stockholm.
Direct the construction and maintenance of dashboards and reporting structures to make sure the organization continues to be highly metrics-driven.
Engage in relationship management with external and internal partners such as Sales, Customer Care, Debt Collection, Law Enforecement etc.
Direct the development and improvement of manual and semi-automated decision processes and decision support systems, working with Klarna's Engineering team.
Be one of the main drivers of improvements to our analytical methodology.
Recruit, train and grow a team of domain experts in risk management and analytics.
A strong and experienced people oriented manager, with a proven track record of hiring and training of highly talented employees. War stories about retaining top performers as well as dealing with letting people go are highly valued.
Excellent written and spoken English. Hebrew and Swedish are a plus.
Several years of experience managing managers.
Experience working in a cross cultural organization, as well as with multiple global partners; The best candidates will understand and have examples of being able to settle conflicting interests for the benefit of the business.
Experience working in a high paced operational environment and making multiple decisions with a small margin for error.
Strong analytical capabilities, curious and willing to learn. Understanding our method and way of thinking is crucial to your success in this role.
Experience with Risk Operations and Process Analysis are a big plus.
