Open position within Application Management DTR:
Application Management Line Manager

The Application Management First line Manager is responsible for all HR activities and all deliveries from the group. The group 9534 Retail Solutions delivers applications and solutions to the Volvo group within the Retail area such as DMS applications Dealer Reporting, rollout service etc. The teams also delivers support, maintenance and new development of solutions for external customers

As line manager you will be responsible for the services and managing global delivery teams together with the appointed Maintenance Managers. You will also be leading several global teams in Gothenburg, Bangalore, Tianjin and other locations.

Main responsibilities:
* Accountable for quality and cost for all production within the groupo assigned applications and productso assigned projectso assigned studies
* HR (recruitments, salary setting, competence development, PBP)
* Finance (accountable for budgets and production results)
* Accountable to reach KPI targets and other performance targets
* Accountable for implementing directives from Global Functional mgrso processes and other working methodso structural changes and sourcing decisions
* implementation of competence development plans
* Functional responsibilities are likely to be added to this position

Application Management Line Manager general profile:

Managers within Application Delivery need to have the ability to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day cooperation. Since Application Delivery is a matrix between global functional responsibilities and Application Delivery site responsibilities it is a requirement on every manager in the organization to actively cooperate in a way that bridges the potential gaps that are inevitable in every matrix organization. It is also essential that all applicants have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to satisfy customer requests.

* Leadership excellence:o Have the courage and ability to communicate visions and objectiveso Have capacity to execute against set targetso Lead through Volvo IT values and to create an attractive workplaceo Have an interest and capacity for developing people
* Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal partners
* Good knowledge about your customers business
* Strong communication skills
* Strong language skills in Swedish and English
* Experience from leading global teams

In this role you will be reporting to the Department Manager, Application Delivery StO/DtR and be part of the Department management team.
