Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium Odenplan is recruiting a native English speaking teacher in English preferably in combination with social science, history or religious studies.
The position is 75-100 % through the academic year 2011-2012, starting in August 2011.
We are looking for a trained teacher that has a great affection for the individual and understands the importance of making learning stimulating for students. You are a skilled educator, working well both independently and with others, and thrive in an organization under constant development.
We offer a job in a professional and creative environment in which we attach great importance to every employee. The teacher plays a central role and the educational development is a top priority. We are working to integrate the aesthetic forms of expression in teaching, and this in an international environment in which many teachers teach their subjects in English. The school is far ahead in terms of ICT use.
The Viktor Rydberg Schools Foundation has three upper secondary schools and one secondary school in the Stockholm area. The three upper secondary schools are bilingual and about one third of the tuition is given in English by native speakers.
The schools get high ratings in internal as well as external evaluations.
