You will design the future of Procurement. Procurement is one of the key levers in increasing Vattenfallâs Operational Excellence by harvesting synergies of scale and skill across the Group in the coming years. Procurement supports the business with procuring all goods and services at best possible commercial terms and conditions by being involved from when the need for external supply occurs and beyond the end of a supplier relation. Vattenfall is one of the largest buyers in the utilities sector with around 6 billion Euro spend annuallyProcurement in Vattenfall is about to change. The intention is to establish âOne Procurementâ in order to âThink global and act localâ. This will realise savings due to synergies of scale and skill. We will buy similar things together due to the Europeanisation of services, products and supplier markets. We will shift focus in capabilities and specialisation - both working closer to business and to suppliers. We are therefore currently recruiting to five leadership roles to design and implement the future of Procurement: Head of SourcingDevelop and lead the Sourcing unit to harvest cross-group synergies by running Accelerated Sourcing for assigned scope of categories. Head of Investment ProcurementDevelop and lead Investment Procurement unit to optimize cost and predictability by upgrading investment procurement for projects.Head of Operational Purchasing and Call-offDevelop and lead the Operational Purchasing and Call-off unit to improve effectiveness by simplifying Operational Purchasing and Call-offHead of ChangeEstablish, lead and drive Procurement change covering Performance Management, Capability Development and continuous Business Development to reach decided mission, strategies and target.HR Business PartnerDrive strategic HR processes and issues in the creation of âOne Procurementâ to increase our procurement capabilities and develop a high performing organisation (see separate advertisement on this website for more information).The roles also include being Senior Procurement partners to assigned business functions. All positions report to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and are part of the management team for Group Procurement. The management team will also include the Head of Supplier management, one more Head of Sourcing and Communication. Qualifications? Academic degree within relevant area or equivalent qualifications? 5-10 years experience from areas relevant to the position? Experience in International Leadership as well as Change Management? Pro-found commercial interest and experience? Professional command of English and preferably another language spoken within the groupWe are looking for individuals with:? A leadership profile enabling her or him to lead and manage in an international environment? A proven ability to run business effectively and to reach demanding targets? The personality and way of being that inspires and engages groups and individuals? The ability to build trust and create confidence in others externally as well as internally?
