We now see substantial opportunities to develop our product portfolio throughout the Food Industry in Europe. Scandinavia has been identified as a key development region and the successful candidate will be challenged with overseeing a significant growth in sales volume/value within this territory. Although taking on an existing customer base that will need to be managed, this will be very much a "path finding" position into a new customer base and, although fully supported by the Commercial Director, the success will be very much determined by the tenacity, commitment and drive of the successful candidate. This is a truly challenging position.
You will be responsible for:

Key Account Management

Identification of new opportunities away from our traditional "Multi National" customer base

Securing new Profitable sales for our product range throughout the Food Industry within the Territory

Working closely with the Sensient Dehydrated Vegetable Product Manager on NPD projects and opportunities

Develop and review Regional sales Forecasts and manage Contract sales

Prepare, develop and implement Sales Strategies in line with Corporate guidelines
The successful candidates should have the following experience/competences:

University degree, preferably within food science/food technology.

Minimum 5 years of sales experience, B2B, technical sales.

It is an advantage to have experience from the Food Ingredient industry.

You master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

You have a valid drivers license.
We are looking for a good communicator/relationship builder who enjoys working in an International Business Culture and an entrepreneur with an ambition/drive to create a successful business from an undeveloped market. As a person, you should be pro-active, with a "can do" attitude. You should be used to working on your own initiative. You should enjoy working in a challenging environment be driven by results.
As Nordic Account Manager you are responsible for the Nordic market with a focus on Scandinavia and you work from a home office or alternatively from our office in Kristianstad. You will be traveling, visiting customers at least 3 days a week. The position will command a Base salary that will be complimented by a generous commission scheme. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
