DeLaval Logistic manages the operational purchasing activities with focus on supplying to our manufacturing unit in Tumba. As Procurement specialist you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers, optimising their performances and playing a key role in maintaining a world-class purchasing organisation.

Key responsibilities 

* Procure components from suppliers and improve their performances in terms of delivery
* Handle and minimise shortage
* Handle the in/out phasing of new products

 Experiences and skills

* A technical college degree or equivalent experience
* Basic knowledge of ERP systems is required experience of Monitor is a merit
* Experience of order handling from a manufacturing company
* Purchasing education is a merit
* A proven track record of delivering results against stretched targets
* Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written. Other languages are appreciated.

The successful candidate should also have

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to communicate with global suppliers 
* Planning and Organization skills
* Cooperation and networking skills
* An energetic and flexible personality
* A result oriented mindset

The position is placed in Tumba, Sweden and you will be reporting to the Logistic Manager. The job demands your possibility of working flexible hours and will require some travel activities.
