The group Service Design & Logistics Solutions is a competence centre for service research & logistic concept development. Job description:
As a product manager your job is to lead the development, the commercialization and support the market launch of a global advisory offer. You will be responsible for business development as well as for managing the project portfolio. Your key contribution will be to establish work routines and an operating model for the advisors as well as contributing to the formulation of a competitive value proposition.
You will also spend approximately 25% of your time leading customer projects.
You will support a line manager in recruiting and coordinating a team of advisors to staff the growing project portfolio. Line management and profit and loss responsibility is not included in the job description.

Profile:
You have excellent analytical and communication capabilities and documented business development skills. We believe you are entrepreneurial and motivated by building a global business offering from the start
You should be able to sell advisory service projects, manage a consultant team in the field and deliver within time, quality & budget frames. Though project sales are not your primary occupation you should be comfortable and able to build trust, analyze problems and create consensus around a solution
Experience from the transport and logistics industry is welcome but not critical. We expect that your broad experience and holistic business understanding makes you able to quickly grasp the logic of the industry and build client confidence
Direct experience as a management consultant or IT consultant is a merit. Line or project management experience is also considered as a merit, as well as experience from leading other consultants and IT implementation projects
