Volvo IT has an exciting position available for an experienced Basis Technician to join a Global SAP Basis group. This position will have an important role in contributing to our SAP Basis operation Team.
Within Infrastructure & Operation, SAP Basis has the responsibility to provide environments to run infrastructure services at the right cost, security levels and quality.
We are now looking for a person with expertise in SAP Basis, with a solid understanding of Databases and underlying system administration, as well as related technologies. Preferable SAP Netweaver certified.
Main responsibilities:
* Participate in projects
* Daily maintenance of our existing SAP Landscape
* Act as a global 3rd level support within the SAP Basis/Netweaver area
* Maintain and update technical documentation as well as mentor other team members
Qualifications and skills:
You need to have experience of SAP Basis. Also you need to have knowledge in UNIX, Oracle and DB2. If you have general knowledge of SAP is that an advantage. As a person you need to be a team player and you need to have good hand with the costumer. Also you are responsible, driven and social in your personality.
The general qualifications are that you have an adequate academic qualification and that you are a communicative team-player. You have to have the ability establish and maintain good relations and also have the ability to work in global, multi-cultural organization. You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written in English.
