For our client, AstraZeneca in Mölndal, we are looking for a lab-based senior research scientist specialized in cellular bioreagent science and supply.
The purpose of the assignment is to provide expertise in the competency of production of cells and membranes, propose experimental strategies and perform experiments.

Your tasks
You will propose, perform and optimize cell and membrane production experiments.

You must have:
* experience of a range of expression systems including in vitro translation, bacterial(E.coli) expression, yeast (Pichia pastoris), insect, mammalian transient and stable expression systems
* expert knowledge of mammalian transient and stable expression systems and insect cell expression systems
* experience of large scale cell supply(eg. use of fermentors, cell factories etc)
* expertise in the functional characterization of cells
* experience in the development of stable cell lines

Utbildning/erfarenhet
MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline, with a few years of work experience within the field.
As a person you should be goal oriented and able to take own initiatives with a problem solving attitude. It is also important that you have a positive attitude with good social and communications skills.
