Senior Embedded Audio Development Engineer

We are looking for a senior embedded Audio development engineer with more than 8 years of experience in the embedded audio industry.
The engineer will be part of a software development team that is responsible for audio functionality in Company Linux based platforms. The team works with Research and Development software development as well as SW support to customers within the audio domain. The daily work will include analysis, design and implementation of audio functionality. The majority of the code is written in C code in a Linux environment with Android used as application framework.

The job requires an ability to quickly understand new problems and a flexible attitude where "changes are embraced". The daily work is driven by internal project plans as well as requests from customers and context switch is a part of the job. A mindset to help and support our customers in the best possible way is crucial. It is an advantage to have an out-going attitude and great networking skills. As a part of customer interaction travels might be needed.

Qualifications:
* 8 years' experience of embedded C-programming.
* 7 years' experience of HW close programming, drivers etc.
* 5 years Linux experience and WinCE.
* Audio knowledge, how digital audio is processed. 5 years' work experience.
* 3 years' work experience from Linux Kernel.
* Experience from open source and community interaction.
* Tools: GIT, Gerrit .
* Good analytical and problem solving skill (3430-3630 & 4430-4460).
* Ability to communicate fluently in English, written as well as spoken.
* The ability to work hard and take initiatives
* ALSA (ALSA kernel & User space).
* Android (Android Audio/Camera device driver development
* OMAP 3X and 4x development(CODEC, ABE, McPDM, McBSP, ISP).
* OPEN MAX IL.
* Education level: Master of Science or similar.
* Knowledge of Mobile/Smart phone and its architecture.
