The storage specialist will drive Klarna?s solutions for storage needs. You will be a part of the IT Operations Infrastructure team which consists of specialists in IT infrastructure as network, servers, databases and security. You will report to the Infrastructure manager. This position is new which means that you will be the first dedicated person to storage and therefor will have a big impact on how Klarna works with data storage.
The role as storage specialist includes designing, planning for and implementing solutions that will enable a structured solution for data storage. You will also be responsible for monitoring, capacity planning, maintenance and support of the solutions.

You have a great strive to build good solution for all stakeholders within the company. Emphasis must be partly on technical skills but also the ability to gather information from all stakeholders. Since you will be the first person with this role no solution is yet set so there will be great possibilities to develop within the department/organization and set how Klarna work with data storage.

We see that you have specialist competence within storage solutions. Most likely you have had the role at a couple of companies before or worked as a consultant within the area. Experience in transaction intense production environments and virtualization environments are highly meritorious. Good network competence and knowledge in backup solutions are needed to succeed. As a person you are focuses on the overall mission and goal of Klarna and delivers strong results.
