About the position:

As a Service Assets and Configuration Manager at our customer you will be responsible for securing that our production environments meets our compliance requirements and securing traceability within the change management process. Together with our Change Manager you will also work with identification, recording, and reporting of IT components, including their versions, constituent components and relationships.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

* Populating the configuration management database.
* Ensuring that pre-defined activities are aligned with our change management process.
* Ensuring that the configuration management system provides accurate and up to date information.
* Ensuring that regular snapshots and configuration baselines are taken and protected.
* Triggering an auditing process on the configuration management database.
* Implementing a communications plan upon changes in the configuration management database (by using the RACI model).
* Considering the usage of a definitive media library as appropriate.
* Ensuring that the service asset and configuration management process is performed as designed.
* Ensuring that the service asset and configuration management process is fit for purpose.
* Sponsorship, design, and continual improvement of the process and its metrics.

What's your background?
We believe that the ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and at least five years of experience from working with the configuration management process as well as the change management process. You need to be ITIL V3 Certified (intermediate RCV) and have excellent command of spoken and written English.
