We are currently recruiting a Site STA Manager for Interior

Job Description:
As Site STA Manager you will be responsible for a team of Site STA Engineers located in Gothenburg, Prague and Gent, who act as the primary VCC representative at a supplier's manufacturing site and is responsible for an allocated set of supplier manufacturing locations. The engineer's activities are focused on product and process performance at external suppliers, supporting both new programs and running production.

Main tasks will be:

Responsible for the team and operation of Site Engineers within Interior and thereby responsible for the quality assurance of product and process at suppliers, and approving products regarding quality and capacity. Prioritise Site STA Engineer resources to support Flawless Launches by APQP status reporting, Run at Rate reviews, Production Part Approval (PPAP) and PSW reporting. Take act and part in CBP teams.

Interface with Purchasing Managers to ensure consistent sourcing direction and consensus and provide new location / technology evaluations to support sourcing following the SFQ process.

Activities included in the Site STA Engineer's role requires frequent travel to suppliers' sites, and as manager you need to be able to travel to those sites as well when necessary. The extent of this travel depends upon various conditions, including the suppliers' segmentation, specific type of activities, urgent situations, and distance to supplier(s).

Profile qualifications requirements:

Great leadership qualities and management experience
A great interest in developing and motivating individuals and teams
Extensive experience in supplier manufacturing processes and/or STA
Experienced in production/production technique, design and quality at suppliers
Experienced in using quality tools and systems such as APQP, PPAP, SEP, etc
Knowledge about quality systems (QS9000/TS16949/ISO14001)
Education on university level or equivalent experience
Knowledge about purchasing organization benificial
Excellent English skills (spoken and written) and additional linguistic skills is beneficial
Good communication skills and ability in creating good international contacts
Experienced in working cross-functionally
Experience from automotive industry
Black belt exam is beneficial
