Volvo Group Telematics is hosted by Volvo IT and is a newly formed global organization within the Volvo Group providing telematics off-board services. Volvo Group Telematics enables & accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development & delivery.

Volvo Group Telematics supports the Volvo Group and external customers in the Automotive Car OEM segment, such as BMW and Volvo Cars through the WirelessCar brand.

Job description Software Architect:
We are looking for a Software Architect for our projects at Volvo Group Telematics.

Main responsibilities:
You will be leading and participating in software development at Volvo Group Telematics. Important elements of the work is understanding customer requirements and translate these into effective solutions, recognizing potential reuse between projects and components is also a vital aspect.

Competence Requirements:
* You are a graduated engineer, system scientist or have equivalent expertise
* You have several year's documented experience from assignments in designing and developing systems in close cooperation with customers
* Experience from EJB 3, Hibernate, Glassfish, JBoss, Webservices, jUnit, Hudson, Eclipse, Data bases and Scrum among other
* Experience from telecom and vehicle industry
* Experience from High Availability design
* Experience of complex systems with many autonomous clients
