The Role
The Statistics Officer role is a new position within Cint. It is a broad role that requires someone with a range of competencies to fulfil the responsibilities. Alongside the core requirements of strong analytical, statistical and research skills, one must be a pragmatist and have an innate ability to communicate clearly with different teams, locations and cultures.
The Statistics Officer will work closely with a number of business areas within the company, but primarily with our Quality, Supply and Sales functions. You will initially be responsible for setting up and developing a dashboard of supply reports, presenting statistics, tracking trends, and delivering insights to internal clients on the Cint Panel Exchange (CPX), a platform hosting 500+ online research panels and over 5 million active panel members. The reports will be utilising both existing and generated data from CPX, helping the business understand and measure KPIs and leading metrics around supply capacity, panel performance, incentive levels and payments, buyer behaviour, marketplace trends, and other relevant data.
You will also be required to contribute content towards case studies, write and contribute to white papers and present statistics in a deliverable format to aid sales with clients. There is scope for this role to develop into a more outward looking role as an expert on statistics around panels, best practice and sampling expertise.
Main Tasks
* Setting up and developing supply report dashboards for management
* Presenting statistics, tracking trends and delivering insights on the CPX platform
* Helping the business understand and measure KPIs and key metrics around supply capacity, panel performance and marketplace trends
* Data and insights support for Sales and Marketing
* Contribution to White Papers and Case Studies
* Helping with statistics on client base and customer intelligence using CRM tool
* Support on quality initiatives that will be driven in the organisation
* Helping develop and drive best practice in sample methodology and panel blending
Education & Experience:
* Preferably a degree in Statistics, Economics, Science or Research
* Skilled statistical software programming experience (SAS, SPSS, Statistica, Quantum, etc)
* High-level of competency with Excel / Advanced Excel
* Advanced user of MS Word and Powerpoint for the presentation of information and insight
* Experience with platforms; DOS, Windows, Mac and UNIX
