Position Description
We are now looking for a highly experienced System developer Power Electronics and Electric Drives Advanced Engineering - NGHVT - Next Generation High Voltage Topology

The purpose are to prepare base knowledge and technology for VCC next generation HV system topology targeting:
* Significant reduction of cost, weight and volume of the Power Electronics (PE) and El Drives HV components.
* Improvement of critical PE and Drives system attributes, e.g. power/torque density, and efficiency.
* Explore design strategies relative to other attribute and functional targets, such as durability and NVH. System design of the HV topology
* Lead, coordinate and plan the NGHVT activities of the Power Electronics and Drives teams and secure result and deliveries.
* Deliver GTDS (Global Techn Dev System) deliverables targeting a CY 2017 GPDS program.
* Structure information and data, lead system analyses based on benchmark, information from the University and research area, competitors, suppliers, trends and by monitoring other applicable external activites in this field.
* Review and reformulate the set of requirements based on current reqs (System, HW and SW specifications) in order to deliver an optimized HV toplogy.
* Develop the design strategy with key parameters for an optimized HV topology
* Develop and review input to CAE models and simulations in cooperation with the HV Systems CAE group.
* Lead reviews and communicate status and outlook to the unit AE coordinator and at Design Review Meetings (Group Technical Meetings (GTM), Section Design Review Meetings (DRM-s)).
* Drive towards decisions on actions, in the project and towards the line organization, for any deviations that occur in the project.
* Initiate actions towards line manager to ensure manning of assignment.

Skills Required:
* Practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of Power Electronics and Drives
* System development
* Analytical capability and experience of design work.
* Planning, creating a clear structure, leadership.

Experience Required:
* Documented experience from system development and leadership roles within the area.

Experience Preferred:
* "Team building"
* Practical application of Systems Engineering methodology
* Experience from working at VCC
* Good networking skills

Education Required:
* Technical Education within Power Electronics and El Drives, Physics or similar.
