Profile of candidates:
Interested in the anti-discrimination issues and to combat intolerance based on sexual orientation, gender and ethnicity.

? Project leader 1: 50 % speaking Spanish and Swedish/English
? Project leader 2: 50 % speaking Arabic and Swedish/English

Have a background in using Arabic/Spanish language skills.

Qualifications:
? Good knowledge in English both spoken and written
? Experience from anti-racist movements
? Knowledge of using social media Have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
? Knowledge of Arabic or Spanish and identify yourself within the LGBTQI-Community
? Be easy to communicate and inspire others, especially those with immigrant background

Duties:o Inspire and involve lesbian, gay and transgender youth to take part of the Initiativeo Inspire members in Arab and Latin Initiativeo Writing debate articles and carrying out activities in the projecto Produce and document material within the projecto Develop the organization's anti-racist worko Translations of material/writing information in different languages

Merits:
? Knowledge of Swedish
? Experience in volunteer involvement and youth activities
? Knowledge of the search SIDA and EU grant
? Knowledge of administration and accounting
? Knowledge of other cultures and intersectionality

Salary: 10 000 SEK/Monthly 50 % employment for Arabic speaking project leader
Salary: 10 000 SEK/Monthly 50 % employment for Spanish speaking project leader

Priority is given to LGBT-persons that have been unemployed for longer time and to female applicants.
The project will start in February 2012, and continue for 12 month.

Information about the organization:
The Swedish Middle East and North African Group will start to work with HIV-prevention targeting Arab speakers in Sweden by starting a phone line service. We also work with a project that focus on the involvement and increase the visibility of LGBT persons (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transsexual persons) with Arab background.

The Swedish Middle East North Africa group is working against all forms of intolerance and discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and religious background and focus on the relations between Sweden, Europe and Middle East and North Africa region, in particular the Arab countries. Swedish Middle East North Africa Group strives for diversity in the organization among both volunteers and staff and promote a mixture of persons with different gender, sexual orientation and ethnic / religious affiliation.
